International Customer Service Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for being the primary contact for overseas inquiries about US sourced products. The incumbent will understand Paladin product lineup, order system, quote preparation, and provide timely responses to customer inquiries. The International Customer Service Representative will support product sales to the customer and will support our strategy of "making things easier" for our customers.

Key accountabilities:
Become knowledgeable of the Paladin product portfolio and its adaptability with various OEM machines.
Understand how the Paladin ordering system operates in order to place customer orders.
Monitors production for International orders by working with Operations team.
Provide response to Request for Quotes (RFQ) in a timely manner.
Assists the customer in completing purchases.
Interacts with International Sales Managers and customers directly to provide business and product information.
Resolve customer concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintain record of transactions and updates and company database information.
Ability to travel up to 10%

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering field is strongly preferred; associate's degree in a technical field may be considered.
Minimum 2 years in a sales environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Bi-lingual in Mandarin Chinese highly desirable.

Physical demands:
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling can be expected.
Long periods of sitting and walking may also be expected in this position.
This position may require long periods of sitting, typing, computer entry or looking at a computer.

Work environment:
The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a manufacturing office environment.
Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing areas may be required and will require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.
Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.
Office lighting will be provided.
The work environment will include their own workstation or cubicle space equipped with a telephone, headset and computer.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
