JOB SUMMARY This position will serve as a strategic business partner to the SBU President charged with executing all Human Resources strategies for the business unit. This includes responsibility for the entire employment process, recruitment, employee relations, organizational development, employee compensation, safety, compliance, and employee retention and development. This role will be an integral part of the management team and located in Dexter, Michigan. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Manage and execute day to day and long term Human Resource related activities and needs. These will include but not be limited to the following: o Strategic partner to the SBU President responsible for ensuring functional alignment with the business' go to market strategies and strategic initiatives. o Represents function and provides appropriate inputs in business group's key annual strategic processes: Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plan and Annual HR Talent Review o Coordinate and manage career development plans, based on performance reviews, 360 reviews, Talent/HR Review, etc. o Coordinate and manage training initiatives; annual Talent/HR Review, leadership development, employee skills training and development. o Development of VOE (Voice of Employee) metrics and process improvement projects to drive engagement. o Ensure business unit talent development process is robust and supports current and future requirements. o Point person for interpretation and guidance relative to company policies and procedures. o Manages employee issues and grievances to satisfactory resolution and provides guidance to supervisors and managers addressing employee issues and grievances. o Ensures organizational compliance with labor laws and guidelines including but limited to DOL, EEOC, etc. o Develop, implement and maintain processes that ensure regulatory and organizational policy compliance. o Develop and communicate HR Scorecard to management team, highlighting HR metrics and their impact on the business. o Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan designed to institutionalize top-grading and the continuous improvement of the business' talent pool. o Deliver a recruitment plan that aligns with business objectives, incorporates traditional and non-traditional recruitment sources and ensures the casting of a "wide net" to attract and introduce qualified diverse candidates to the organization. o Manage and execute the recruitment process; advertising, job descriptions, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks. o Manage and develop relationships with recruitment agencies (temporary and permanent placement). o Coordinate and manage compensation plans; prepare and implement annual salary plans, develop and align compensation plans to drive desired employee and business performance. QUALIFICATIONS o Bachelor's Degree required (prefer HR, Business, Communications or related field). o 7+ years working in a management level HR position required o Working knowledge of employment law and industry best practices. o Capable of influencing senior-level leaders to drive HR initiatives. o Proven track record of building strong relationships vertically and horizontally within an organization. o Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail. o Results oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize. o Self-motivated individual with the desire to succeed and motivate others o Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. o Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure. o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately o Strong Organizational skills o Results oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
